Co-op Role Tier List

A House of The Locust lobby can hold fifty people and still play like four. The nest this wiki calls The Locusts Manor rewards a stack that talks, and it punishes a stack that all sprint toward the same scream. This page ranks the jobs. The parent tier list ranks items and habits. You want both open if you are the one assigning roles in Discord.

Death is cheap. Jobs still matter because items stay in the world and time does not. The Locust will farm an unassigned squad forever.

S — Bait / hunter-watcher

Someone has to see The Locust without holding a cube. Bait sprints, slides, and calls landmarks: chandelier room, pad room, wallpaper wing — not “here.” Good bait never stands on a pad. Good bait never Search-locks a cabinet. The job exists so carriers and sweepers can work.

Bait is also the backup Keycard thief. A pin you created is a pin you understand. Read how to get the Keycard before you volunteer. If bait dies, bait respawns and resumes the callouts. Do not swap jobs mid-chase because you got embarrassed.

S — Cube carrier

One person, one cube, walk don’t sprint, reseat, reset, next cube. The carrier does not bait. The carrier does not “quickly check a cabinet.” When the third cube seats, the carrier or a watcher pulls the rope for Wirecutters. Details: cube puzzle.

If two people carry, you will drop cubes into each other. If nobody carries, you will all hunt the Keycard first and then remember EXIT still says WireCutter Needed.

A — Cabinet sweeper

The Key is a time tax. Sweepers run a wing, Search, Cancel empty, call “clear,” and never reverse into a wing a teammate just finished. Sweepers keep a slide corner in their pocket. They do not dead-end. This job is A instead of S only because a lucky first cabinet can make it look trivial, and because a silent sweeper duplicates work.

Solo players are sweepers by default after pads. That is why solo Key hunts feel miserable. Bring one friend if you can.

A — Keycard thief

Often the same body as bait. Ranked separate because some stacks keep a dedicated thief who never holds cubes. Thief waits for a pin, a rear, or a death pickup. Thief does not invent a fourth method. Thief leaves the prompt the instant the card is in inventory and runs EXIT, not a victory lap.

B — Door sitter

Someone camps EXIT with Wirecutters already in hand so the chain does not stall while the thief is busy. Useful in a five-stack. In a three-stack this is a wasted body. Sitters still need audio; The Locust patrols the door because players glow there.

C — Loot tourist

Follows whoever screamed. Picks up cubes and drops them. Opens the same cabinet twice. Asks for codes. This is most public-lobby players. If you cannot get them on voice, treat them as random hazards, not as teammates.

D — Four auto-escape clients

Four scripts fighting over the same prompts. Cubes teleport, cabinets double-lock, someone noclip-kills the thief. If the stack insists on a GUI, one ESP client on the sweeper is the cap.

Callouts that actually help

  • “Locust pads” / “Locust chandelier” — landmark, not a feeling.
  • “Yellow seated” — so the rope watcher is ready.
  • “Wing clear” — so sweepers do not loop.
  • “Pinning, steal now” — so the thief does not arrive late.
  • “EXIT has wire” — so nobody redoes step one.

Do not call “it’s behind you” without a landmark. Do not argue ranks during a chase. Assign this list in the elevator, then run the escape walkthrough in order.

The video on this page is a chaos lobby, not a clinic. Watch how unassigned players feed the hunter, then do the opposite with your stack. Movement still uses the same controls. The hunter still uses the same tells on The Locust.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for The Locusts Manor on Roblox.

What is the minimum squad size?

Two is already a rank-up: one bait, one carrier/sweeper. Three is the sweet spot. Fifty is noise.

Who should steal the Keycard?

Bait, after a pin they created. Dedicated thief if you have four people. Guide: Keycard.

Should everyone hunt cabinets?

No. One sweeper, or two on opposite wings. Three people on one row is how The Locust farms you.

Where do items rank versus jobs?

On the parent tier list. Wirecutters and Keycard are S. Jobs exist to collect them without stacking.
