The Locusts Manor The Locust

DoctorNowhere's hunter, rebuilt by NULLWORKS as the nest's only real enemy.

The Locust

The Locust is the reason House of The Locust exists. Cabinets and cubes are the lock. This hunter is the timer. The Roblox listing still credits DoctorNowhere for the character and survival_patrickDEV for the icon. NULLWORKS STUDIOS wrote the patrol, the Keycard, and the pre-alpha bugs. This page is the hunter as a mechanic. The steal that uses its body is how to get the Keycard.

What it does in the nest

It wanders, then commits. A commit is a straight-line sprint into whoever made noise or whoever it last saw. Touch is an instant kill. There is no health bar, no stun, no holy water. You break line of sight, you slide, you let it eat a wall. If you try to juke in an open chandelier room with no geometry, you are donating a life.

It gets stuck on purpose-shaped accidents: doorframes, thin walls, stair lips, cube pads. That stuck loop is not a guaranteed exploit forever — the listing has already advertised improved intelligence — but it is the current consistent Keycard window. Pin, grab, leave. Lingering on the prompt through a wall still kills you because the hitbox is not as skinny as the silhouette.

Audio tells

  • Distant footsteps: it is moving. You have time to finish a Cancel on a cabinet.
  • Close footsteps: drop the cube, slide, do not Search.
  • Breathing: it is in your pocket. If you cannot see it, it is on the other side of your wall.
  • Silence after a chase: it lost you or it wedged. Peek with a slide, not with your face.

Play with audio on. The controls tool will not save a muted lobby. Lights Out maps from Boiled One make this section mandatory instead of recommended.

What it carries and what it does not

It carries the Keycard. It does not carry the Key. It does not drop Wirecutters. It does not care about your codes search. Killing it is not a mode; there is nothing to kill. After it downs you, it may idle long enough for a teammate to grab the card. That is a squad tactic, not a farm.

It can still path through rooms you thought were safe because a public-lobby tourist opened a line of sight. Treat other survivors as moving flares.

How to practice the hunter without wasting a badge run

Free Roam. No cubes, no Key, still a Locust. Spend ten minutes only listening and sliding. Then spend ten minutes only pinning it into a doorframe without grabbing anything. Then go to a real round and run the escape walkthrough.

If you skip practice and inject ESP, you will still die on the prompt because ESP does not shrink the hitbox. ESP copies this page’s audio section into a red outline. Learn the audio anyway.

Lore, briefly, without inventing a wiki novel

DoctorNowhere’s Locust is an analog-horror figure associated with screens and recordings in the original art. The Roblox nest does not require you to know that. The in-game text is almost only: you ended up in The Locust’s nest, will you get out, expect bugs. Wallpaper, chandeliers, and the painted face on the icon do the rest. If you want fandom lore, that is off-site. If you want to leave, stay on this wiki’s guides.

Do not confuse this hunter with MM2 of The Locust or with a UGC bundle that lets you wear the face in Brookhaven. Place 86247128610772 is the nest. The entities hub lists what we refuse to mix in.

The intelligence banner shipped with wall climbs and greedier sprints. High ground is a pause, not a win. The full evade lesson — including the climb clip — is how to evade The Locust. Check updates if pins that worked yesterday suddenly do not.
